The Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) stands tall and resolute in unwavering solidarity with our beloved nation — India. In this moment of sorrow and defiance, we extend our full support to the Armed Forces of India, the Government of India, and the valiant people living in the sensitive border regions of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Chandigarh, and Gujarat.
The recent inhumane attack in Pahalgam, which cruelly targeted innocent locals and tourists, is not just an act of terror — it is a vile affront to India’s sovereignty, unity, and peaceful identity. We grieve deeply for the lives lost, pray fervently for those injured, and demand decisive justice for this heinous crime.
ADTOI places full confidence in the Government of India’s response to this cowardly provocation. We stand with the resolve of over a billion patriots — India will not be shaken, and we will not be silenced in the face of terror.
We also strongly urge the Government of India to issue firm travel advisories against countries such as Turkey and Azerbaijan, whose geopolitical leanings and affiliations suggest alignment with forces that threaten India’s security and promote terrorism emanating from Pakistan. These countries benefit from Indian tourism, and it is
unacceptable for Indian travellers to support economies that disregard our national interests and the safety of our people.
ADTOI appeals to the entire domestic travel trade fraternity & travel industry stakeholders across India to immediately halt the promotion and sale of tourism to such countries. Until these nations openly support India’s fight against terrorism, no Indian should travel to or promote destinations that disrespect our sovereignty or dishonour our martyrs.
Domestic tourism is the lifeblood of national unity, and while tourism symbolizes peace and connection, patriotism is our highest calling. As proud Indians, we rise above commerce when our land is violated — we rise for our people, our pride, and our principles.
Let it be known — we will not forget, we will not forgive, and we will act — with unity, strength, and resolve.
Let this be our solemn pledge: India will never stand alone — not in grief, not in defiance, not in victory.
